3.Q, Bhutan started a Gross National Happiness Index. Now, there is a United Nations World Happiness Index. In 2012, Denmark was top, Canada 5th, New Zealand 8th, US 18th, Japan 44th, and Togo was last. Why do you think Japan is so low in spite of being rich country?
A,I could believe that Japans UN world happiness index being low at 44th even though Japan is a rich country. If you have lived in Japan or if you are Japanese this is not a surprising thing to hear people often are under inserts of putting them selves into everything towards work, the key issue is what affects happiness. Mental health can be one to be the single most important determinant of whether a person is happy or not. Humans are always optimistic and that makes us suffer from happiness. Although Japanese tend to be the opposite they tend to let go of their optimistic and even if they are suffering from things they tend to hold on and that causes people to be in stress all the time. We should be more optimistic and let go things if they do not wish to do. Everyone is not forced to do things. Take it easy like in Denmark which is the most comfortable place to live and peaceful.
